The term, “foster fail” applies to someone who fosters a rescue animal and then ends up keeping it. Jasper is an example of a “volunteer fail.” A volunteer at the shelter saw Jasper and fell in love. Jasper now has a new home.

There are many advantages to volunteering at a shelter. One is that you get to see how wonderful each dog is and, occasionally, take it home forever.
